Koji Kikkawa
Debuted in 1984 with the film “Sukanpin Walk” and its theme song “Monica.”
Following the success of “Monica,” he released a string of chart-topping hits such as “La Vie en Rose” and “You Gotta Chance.”
In 1988, he formed the duo COMPLEX with guitarist HOTEI.
Afterward, as a solo artist, he took charge of writing, composing, and producing his own music, establishing himself as a leading rock artist with his distinctive vocal style.
In 2011, COMPLEX held a charity concert at Tokyo Dome to support recovery efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake.
In May 2024, the duo once again reunited at Tokyo Dome for a charity concert to aid reconstruction after the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
In recent years, his career has expanded beyond music, earning high acclaim as an actor as well.
While continuing to perform live with great energy, he remains active across a wide range of fields, including films, documentaries, and commercials.
