After the IG-1N senses the Input signals from the guitar or bass, the noise reduction and noise gate processing are canceled, shortening the time until the sound is output.
You can especially feel this effect when the THRESHOLD setting is after 3 o'clock.

Please proceed to the update steps after confirming the version number of the firmware on your Ambi Space's display.　After powering on, the PRESET 1-4 LEDs above the SELECT footswitches turn on and off from 1 to 4 in sequence. The current firmware version can be checked by counting the number of light-up times. If all of the PRESET 1-4 LEDs will turn on twice, the AMBI SPACE is running with the ver. 2.1 firmware.

Please proceed with the update after checking the version number of your TRI AVATAR. To check the current firmware version, after turning on the device, the PRESET 1-4 LEDs will light up and go out in order from 1 to 4. After that, all four of the PRESET 1-4 LEDs will light up and the number of times they light up will indicate the version number. If the TRI AVATAR is running the ver. 1.2 firmware, all of the PRESET 1‒4 LEDs illuminate twice and it will then start up.

Due to the discontinuation of the YAMAHA USB-MIDI INTERFACE UX16, we recommend the Roland UM-ONE MK2.

CAUTION!
When you update the firmware from the version 1.00, the unit will be initialized to the factory shipment status and all of the stored data will be lost. Be sure to make a backup of your existing data before starting the firmware update.
For information on how to make a backup to a PC or Mac, please refer to “ARC-4 Firmware Update Procedures” on the Free The Tone website.
From version 1.11 the Display-2 no longer shows the Free The Tone logo during booting up. This is the normal operation.
